1999 Version Update History

Update 9904 (7/11/2000):

- Corrected a strike probability problem when running system on Windows 2000. Patch is not required if you are not running the system on Windows 2000.

Update 9903 (1/11/2000):

- Corrected some email send problems and added email send log confirmation

- Corrected some report formatting problems

- Corrected animation of storms that move from Eastern to Western Hemisphere and visa versa.

- Fixed summary report decision arc problem

- Corrected "black" fax on some PCs

- Corrected problem where automation assumed new data arrived for intermediate advisories even though that option was not checked.

- Fixed problem where entire map would turn red when plotting. This only occurred when "shaded wind area" plot was selected and for storms that had zero radii of hurricane force winds (in at least 1 quadrant).

Update 9902 (8/30/1999):

- Changed print module to correct some printing problems that occurred on some systems where an error dialog would appear

- Fixed subject line when Emailing the Tropical Weather Outlook

- Corrected forecast plot that crosses from East Pacific to West Pacific (Global only)

- Corrected some automatic HURRTRAK ONLINE polling problems

- Changed all "new data has arrived" messages to timed ones. This allows the user to better perform updates unattended.

- Fixed database backup "file not found" error message

- Corrected problems when entering official forecast data for multiple storms in one session

- Fixed sporadic problem where system would not let you plot a tracking chart after running summary reports

- Corrected some database locking errors that would occasionally occur during data updates

- Improved performance slightly

- Corrected "black" fax on some PCs... again. (16 bit color systems should not change their default map colors)

Update 9901 (7/6/1999):

- Changed print module to correct some printing problems that occurred on some systems (including the MSVBVM60.DLL error)

- Enhanced error trapping and messaging

- Corrected County Action Point setup. User should first delete any action points that have been setup before applying this patch.

- Corrected "black" fax on some PCs. (16 bit color systems should not change their map colors until this is fixed)

- Fixed some update "conflicts" when a large amount of data was being downloaded as the main tracking program was active.

- Corrected several Animation User options

- Fixed several report formatting problems

- Modified strike probability method to prevent a "file not found" error that occurred after exporting html

- Changed print routine to prevent printing a hard copy report when exporting a report to html.
